CONCEPT:
Bespoke works are developed in response to the character of a space, its architecture, atmosphere, and intended experience. While some projects develop from existing series, others originate as entirely new concepts conceived specifically for a setting, material, or narrative direction.
DEVELOPMENT:
Each project develops through drawing, composition, material exploration, and refinement at architectural scale. Scale, light, rhythm, materiality, and movement are considered throughout, with the work evolving in dialogue with the space and the people shaping it.
SITE & INTEGRATION:
Works may range from immersive mural environments and ceiling installations to architectural wallcoverings, dimensional surfaces, and work developed for unusual materials or conditions. Each is conceived in response to the particular demands of the interior.
CONTINUITY:
Many of the Penshaw Hill series began with a single site-specific work. Those ideas continue to evolve through new rooms, materials, and commissions—sometimes remaining recognizable, sometimes becoming something else entirely.
